Royal Jelly is undoubtedly the most mysterious product of the bee hive. While most of its ingredients are largely determined, many of mechanism of action remain a well-guarded secret of bees. Royal jelly consists of about 65% water, about 15% different sugars, about 13% proteins with a high content of essential amino acids, about 5% lipids (fats and fatty acids) and about 2 % other ingredients. Just these 2% make it such a powerful remedy with a high concentration of vitamins, especially from the B group, as well as mineral salts based on potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium, zinc, iron, copper and chromium and a relatively high amount of organic acids.
